Staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Downtown was a real treat during my recent city break. The friendly staff made us feel welcome right from check-in, and the complimentary hot breakfast was a fantastic way to fuel up for our busy days—especially the coffee, which was surprisingly good! Our room had a modern vibe with premium bedding and a well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to whip up a light meal after a day of exploring. I was quite impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel; it felt fresh and inviting as we walked through the pleasantly scented hallways. After catching a game at the nearby stadium, we enjoyed a leisurely walk back to the hotel, although I did keep my eyes peeled in the industrial vicinity. The location is perfect for anyone attending events at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena or visiting downtown attractions like the Museum of Science & History. I definitely recommend this spot for a comfy stay in Jacksonville!
